Daywise Tour Itinerary

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Darjeeling. The scenic drive winds through lush forests, rolling tea estates, and charming hillside villages along the Hill Cart Road. En route, enjoy beautiful views of tea gardens and, if lucky, catch a glimpse of the iconic toy train making its way through the mountains.
A brief stop at Kurseong offers refreshing valley views before continuing toward Darjeeling.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, explore Darjeeling Mall Road, known for its vibrant atmosphere, local shops, and panoramic mountain views.

2 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Begin your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill, where the sunrise paints the snow-clad Kanchenjunga range in golden hues—an unforgettable experience. On the return journey, stop at Ghoom Monastery, one of the region’s oldest monasteries, and Batasia Loop, a beautifully landscaped railway loop featuring a war memorial and stunning Himalayan backdrop.

After breakfast, continue with local sightseeing. Visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), home to rare high-altitude wildlife including the Red Panda and Snow Leopard. Explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), which showcases the legacy of Himalayan expeditions and mountaineering history.

Later, visit a nearby tea estate to admire the lush plantations and observe tea plucking during the season. Proceed to Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock, popular spots for photography and light adventure activities.
Conclude the tour with visits to the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), Bhutia Busty Monastery, and Ava Art Gallery, known for its unique artwork and embroidery. Return to the hotel for rest.

3 Departure from Darjeeling

After breakfast, you may opt for a joy ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train (optional and at additional cost), offering a charming short journey between Darjeeling and Ghoom.

Later, check out from the hotel and proceed toward NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport as per your departure schedule, carrying beautiful memories of the Queen of Hills.
